專長領域為明清史與朝鮮史，研究重點聚焦於環境史與科技史，特別關注國家治理、環境與邊境社會之間的互動關係。近年研究主題包括近代東亞戰時後勤對社會的影響、朝鮮交通史，以及近代東亞文化交流史。
